Oily Skin Home Remedies
Oily skin is shiny, thick and blur colored. Oily skin can cause several skin disorders, including blackheads, shiny skin, makeup that won’t stay on the face, and of course, acne. While there are other causes, oily skin is the most hopeful. In this form of skin, the oil producing sebaceous glands are overactive and produce more oil than is required. Genes and hormones play the important role in if or not you have oily skin. The key thing you can do for oily skin is to keep your skin neat using warm water and soap, or a soapless cleanser.
Main reasons of Oily Skin is heredity ,diet hormone levels ,pregnancy ,birth control pills cosmetics you use and humidity and hot weather. In general, skin leans to become dryer with age. The flow of sebum or oil increases during adolescence and starts diminishing with age. During pregnancy and menopause, hormonal imbalances can also topple the oil balance and increase the activity of sebaceous glands. Use a light antiseptic night cream from time to time if you wish, and apply a clarifying mask one or two times a week.
The great benefit of oily skin is that it ages at a slower rate than other skin kinds. Drink 6-8 glasses of water (or herb teas) a day. Eliminate stimulants. Try to have regular, daily bowel movements. Lavender is very good for oily skin. Gloom your skin with lavender water many times daily. A facial sauna using lemongrass, licorice root, and rosebuds is perfect for oily skin. Two or three times a week, simmer a total of 2 to 4 tablespoons of dried or fresh herbs in 2 quarts of water. Actuate the mixture to your face, avoiding the eye area. Leave it on for fifteen minutes, then rinse well with lukewarm water. Do this at least three times a week–or more. Once or twice daily, mix equal parts of lemon juice and water together.
Aloe vera has excellent healing properties. Use aloe vera gel topically, as needed. Burdock root, chamomile, horsetail, oat straw, and thyme foster the skin. Efface oily skin areas with apple cider vinegar for a neutralizing effect. Regularly brushing and massage of the whole body forments circulation and rejuvenates the skin.
Mix one tablespoon youghurt with fuller’s earth and apply. It helps to soften the skin and restores the natural acid mantle. To avoid oily skin use fresh crushed tomatoes on your face. Apply witch hazel to the skin which is good for absorbing oil. Wash with a drying soap (like Cuticura medicated or Clearasil soap) or antibacterial soap with hot water. Keep it in ferment, 2 to 4 tablespoons of fresh or dried herbs in 2 quarts of water. Avoid fried foods and chocolates. Do not touch or compress your pimples as it leaves a scar.
Eat a well balanced diet. Apply dark brown clay mask or mud on the skin to cleanse the skin. Combine 2 Tablespoons vodka, 1 Tablespoon fennel seeds, and 1 1/2 teaspoons honey. Stir well and allow to sit for 3 days. Strain mixture.Mix 2 teaspoon tomato juice and 4 tablespoon buttermilk. Wash after 1/2 hour. Apple Cider Vinegar soothes and heals sunburn. Takes the pain, heat out of it.
